Option 1: 6, 6, and 6
Holes 1-6 Best Ball
Both players play the entire hole using their own ball. The best score between the two teammates will be used for each hole.
Holes 7-12 Alternate Shot
Hang on, there's a twist. Both players will be allowed to hit t-shots. From there, the team can decide wich ball to alternate in with. Yes, you can use one player's t-shot everytime. As long as the other player hits shot #2.
Holes 13-18 Scramble
We could go traditional or the well received 3 club scramble format used last year. For those of you unfamiliar, a 3 club scramble means you are only allowed to use 3 clubs from your bag the entire scramble. For example, a guy could use driver, 7 iron, and wedge (putters are also allowed as the 4th club). If the shot called for a 5 iron, you better swing a real hard 7, or a knock down driver. Get it? (sidenote: we'd have to use the honor system as the event will start on the 13th hole and we wouldn't be at the club house to empty your bag of extra clubs)
Option 2: 9 and 9
Holes 1-9 Best Ball, Alternate shot, scramble
Holes 10-18 3 club scramble

Attending players will be broken down into A and B players based on recent performances on tour. Teams will be drawn that day.
We need a cheap course so we can throw in $10 towards the winners' prize.
